Getting around in Angers and its surroundings can be done in serevral ways, by foot, by bicycle, by car. Here’s the list of common means of transportation.

Bicycle

All Angers residents can borrow a bicycle for free during one year. Go to the Vélocité webpage or contact the Infocampus information desk.

Bus and tramway

The Irigo public transportation service (15 bus lines and a tramway) allows residents to get around the city.

Coach

Most of the Maine et Loire region is covered by the regional transport system Anjoubus.

Train

The SNCF offers students preferential prices.

Carpooling

Carpooling is economical and user-friendly, for example with Blablacar and Klaxit.

Others

Destineo is a platform that allows you to create an itinerary combining different means of transportation (bus, train, bicycle, walking).
